Lame iTunes Affiliate Program

You probably saw the email from iTunes about an affiliate link.Given that iTunes has no 'raw material' cost for supporting a new customer, I think this is really cheap.Compare to a program I just joined from an IP-TV provider. They're offering $50 for each new subscriber, plus 5% of their subscription each month. Bear in mind they have to send the new customer a cable box thing.Sure, it speaks to the market position of each company, but you're not getting nuttin' from Apple in this program.

I think it' is 5% of every song purchased. The majority of that money goes to the record labels, so don't just get P.O.'d at Apple.Secondly, Apple certainly does have a heavy expense in selling music .
Yes, 5% is cheap and probably not worth the effort. Yes, you probably can't even cash out your earnings until a certain dollar amount is made, but if you're going to come down on Apple, come down on AdSense and Amazon, too.
